Whether you like Big Boss or not, we’ve all wanted to say this line somewhere or the other. But one thing’s for certain, the Indian army has used this line, practically speaking.
For many years now armies across the globe have been using and innovating technology to keep citizens safe. Interestingly, many of the innovations brought about by the army have found other usages in our day-to-day lives. Walkie-talkies, microwave oven, GPS, satellites and the internet, all owe their existence to the military!
Now, you can’t keep the entrepreneurial mindset too far. As technology became more and more accessible, many young Indian startups have seen an opportunity in the surveillance market, a $200 Billion dollar global opportunity to be precise.
Defence, homeland security, space, airports etc all have and will always require state-of-the-art surveillance. If modern technology can provide cheap and durable surveillance equipment that can better detection & recognition, I’m sure this can only strengthen our army.
